On Sept. 15

th

, Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center celebrated National Neonatal

Nurses Day. The day was established in 2000 by the National Association of

Neonatal Nurses (NANN).

show their pride in being a neonatal nurse. This day provides an opportunity

to celebrate the hard work and dedication of neonatal nurses and the NANN

community. These contributions to the tiniest patients make a difference that lasts

a lifetime.

Michele Redmond from the March of Dimes and NICU mom Kayla Johnson

delivered cards, a cake and balloons to our NICU staff to thank them for their

hard work and dedication.
