Wound Care

Nationally ranked health care close to home.  It’s what every patient with a hard-to-heal wound hopes for.  At the The Center for Wound Care of Gulf Coast Medical Center, it’s a reality.

Our wound care program is accredited by the Joint Commission and recognized as a National Center of Excellence.  And, our healing rate is higher than the national average. Our doctors, nurses and staff promise:

  • A treatment plan to meet our patient’s specific needs

Patients are cared for by our skilled team of physicians and wound care specialists, who are committed to the management of chronic, non-healing wounds in an outpatient setting. This is accomplished by providing wound assessment, evaluation, treatment and prevention to meet the specific needs of each patient. We treat various types of wounds caused by conditions such as diabetes, injury, insect bites, and vascular disease. Our Wound Care Team includes:
